Week on Hilton Head Island
Our family enjoys active vacations.
We like visiting different places, long walks on the beach or in
the downtown of an old city. After several years of carefully considering
buying a second home, we have decided to purchase a villa on Hilton
Head.
If you prefer relaxing vacations far from noise and pressures of
everyday life - Hilton Head is right for you. Beautiful and relaxing
ocean, deemed lights at night, and lots of green areas creating
an atmosphere of privacy await you. Sometimes it seems that you
are in a small un-populated island in the middle of the ocean...
And if you like an active life style, Hilton Head island offers
a lot of attractions.It is conveniently located within a driving
distance from two historical cities - Savannah and Charleston. Hilton
Head island itself offers a variety of eco-tours for adults and
children, different seasonal activities, and an exciting night life.
Not even to mention sports - tennis, golf, bicycle, parasailing,
etc.
Every time our family travels, we usually create a plan that allows
us to maximize vacations time and do many different activities that
we all can enjoy. To help you plan you next Hilton Head vacations,
we have included a sample plan of what our vacations on Hilton Head
Island would look like. This is a seven day plan, taking into
considerations that the first day is typically used for traveling
(usually driving for us). Last, seventh day is the day of departure
and return.
You can follow this plan to get maximum activities, while still
enjoying the beach and your time together. If you came to stay
on the island longer than for a week, you may use this plan in a
more relaxed style. You will probably find many more activities
that we have listed in this section. Although we tried to
put together a plan that is good for any time of the year, please
